With the 2015 Corvette Z06 already proving to be an international sensation, its no surprise that Chevrolet is aiming to be a key player in the Middle Eastern car market which has long been the domain of established rivals such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin and more.
As is the case with 2015 Corvette Z06 models sold elsewhere, Middle East buyers will be rewarded with the LT4 6.2-liter supercharged V8 which is good for a healthy 650 horsepower and a stout 650 lb-ft of torque. All of this power is routed to the rear wheels through either a standard seven speed manual gearbox, or an optional eight speed automatic transmission for smooth and precise shifts. We are curious to see how the 2015 Corvette Z06 will fare in sales, and we think its relatively low cost of entry will give it an edge when viewed against more established competition. Though its performance figures are higher than some of the best Italy has to offer, and that should translate to a solid fun filled value that will appeal to a wide range of buyer tastes especially those that want something uniquely different than the established crowd.
Look for the first 2015 Corvette Z06 models to make their arrival in Dubai showrooms sometime in December, with Middle East pricing expected to be formally unveiled sometime in the near future.
