Chevrolet is finding a bunch of new ways to market the new 2015 Chevy Colorado. One of those is through creating a deodorant which captures the essence of a truck guy: the mystique, the allure, the manliness. Then, they placed the product on a shelf in a supermarket, hid cameras and waited.
It didn’t take long for customers to pick up the deodorant.
A camera crew interviewed them at the checkout and their answers to why they bought it were both amusing and insightful. Owning a truck and the perception of a truck owner gives you confidence, ruggedness and “something just for me.”
