Too impatient to build your own hot rod Chevrolet pickup? If you answered yes in your head (and let’s be honest, you probably did) you are in luck because one in mint condition has just entered the buyer arena. This extremely clean and crafted 1942 Chevrolet pickup truck is the best of street rod and rat rod, found on eBay.
Someone certainly put in the wrench time because every matriculate detail has been gone over in this unique build. It seems someone gave up their pride and joy to a local Georgia Mazda dealer (that one had us wondering too) and the dealer has listed the vehicle for sale on eBay for only $25,000. That seems like a pretty good bargain for what the truck is outfitted with.
The powerplant is a supercharged 383 Stroker motor, and the truck is also equipped with a 671 blower, and front mounted intercooler. The builder also brought the truck into the 21st century with an independent rear suspension. The seller is claiming $90,000 worth of work has been put into the vehicle, but we’ll take the sales pitch with a grain of salt.
If you’re interested in the truck, which you should be because it’s serious a boss ride, you have four days to make a move on the bidding. We hope the original owner is enjoying their Mazda because they gave up one heck of a ride for it.
