Danica Patrick’s No. 10 GoDaddy Chevrolet SS will have a bit of a different look for the NASCAR Sprint Cup’s four events in October, but you won’t have any trouble spotting it on the track. The Stewart-Haas campaigned Chevy will wear a bright pink livery in support of GoDaddy’s “Put the Brakes on Breast Cancer” program.
GoDaddy’s breast cancer campaign began last month and allows those with a loved one who was affected by breast cancer to donate $10 or more to the foundation in their memory. GoDaddy is also donating $50,000 to breast cancer themselves and offering their customers a chance to participate in the Round Up For Charity program, where they round up their purchases to the nearest dollar for charity.
“I think far too many people know someone affected by this disease,” said Patrick. “We wanted to do something a little different this year, something to honor people who have fought the disease, and we wanted to do it in a way that might help drive donations.”
Along with her pink car, Danica will also be rocking a matching pink firesuit. GoDaddy, a global internet domain name provider, is hoping the pink car will inspire NASCAR fans and others to donate to breast cancer awareness or spread the word themselves.
