Cadillac Becomes New Title Sponsor Of 2015 WGC-Match Play Events

Cadillac has announced a title sponsorship of the 2015 World Golf Championships match play events. These events bring the world’s best golfers to play a single elimination match play tournament.

Currently, Cadillac is the title sponsor for the WGC-Cadillac Championship at Doral, Florida. With changes coming to the WGC including moving away from its long-time site in Tucson, Arizona, the PGA tour was looking for an overall title sponsor and Cadillac stepped up.

These events are big marketing opportunities for companies with multiple commercials aired, logo placement in the background at events and on all the memorabilia. Also, sponsors typically set up a product showcase area when fans walk in. These opportunities without any competing brand placements is a marketer’s dream.
