BMR Introduces Performance Springs For Fifth Gen Camaros

It’s not always about straight lines, and quarter miles. Taking a corner at appropriate high speeds can be all the satisfying, just as much so as screaming down a straight away. Keeping the lowest center of gravity is a must for corners to feel just right.

Luckily, BMR has introduced their newest performance-lowering springs for fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro models to amp up the feel during corners. The springs are crafted from chrome silicon high-tensile spring wire and are cold wound on a CNC rolling machine that can adjust the spring diameter in real time to ensure every spring is exactly the same. Sounds great, but what does all of that press release lingo actually mean?

It equates to a much lower center of gravity for the Chevrolet Camaro and a drop in ride height of 1.25 inches. The lower center of gravity allows the Camaro to stay much more level and flat in cornering, but the springs quickly readjust to the likes of a daily driver when putzing around town. The BMR springs are a perfect OEM alternative for the Camaro owner who occasionally pushes his machine in various autocross events, but needs to the car to remain tame in regular driving conditions. The holiday season is just right around the corner, and what better way to show appreciation for the Camaro enthusiast in your life than by giving the gift of car parts?
