One 1967 Pro Touring Chevrolet Camaro Stands Out Above The Rest: eBay Find

Bumblebee, eat your heart out; there’s a new Camaro that’s just stolen our hearts. Largely because it doesn’t falsely advertise an ability to transform. (Still awaiting the “my Camaro won’t turn into a robot” GM recall.)

What this 1967 Camaro RS for bid on eBay does advertise is the ability to push your brain to the back of your skull with its 811 horsepower, and 804 pound-feet of torque. The listing claims that “no expense was spared” with the pro-touring Camaro, and that it was the recipient of one or more national awards with the USCA (Ultimate Street Car Association).

It sports a Bowler dual-clutch auto, Wilwood disc brakes, unique fabricated gauges, 10-point cage, yadda yadda. The additional kicker: it’s equipped with a 200 shot of nitrous oxide, “if you need over 1000HP.” We can’t imagine a scenario where we ever would. But then, couldn’t every one of us use over 1000 horsepower from time to time?

Before you get too settled with the idea that this is your next set of wheels, beware; the Buy It Now price listed for the car is a quarter of a million dollars. If you can afford it, however, why not have the GM Authority staff over for a nice brunch sometime after you’ve taken delivery?
