National Corvette Museum Now Providing On-Track Insurance Coverage

The National Corvette Museum is covering all the bases with its new Motorsports Park. The museum has teamed up with insurance provider Lockton Affinity to offer those with a desire to take their Corvette or other car on the track special “On Track Physical Damage Coverage.”

The coverage will be valid for most tracks in the United States, not just the NCM Motorsports Park. Finding a provider that will offer you coverage on a racetrack can be a big headache for some track day regulars, but the NCM says they know what you’re looking for with on-track insurance because they’re “enthusiasts too.”

The insurance plan will cover physical damage sustained while on track or participating in a performance driving class. It becomes valid once you drive the car through the front gates and ends once you leave the premises of the racecourse. It will also be valid if a driving instructor, friend or another individual is driving your car.

The NCM also offers single-event insurance policies, which is a good alternative for those drivers that only take to the track five times or less per year. So if you can’t wait to hit the Motorsports Park in your Corvette but are afraid you might put it into a sidewall, don’t worry, the NCM has your back.
