Already an award-winner, the 2015 Cadillac CTS will arrive in the Middle East next month offering “engaging performance, elevated luxury, and sophisticated technology” that includes a revised grille and “Cadillac Crest.”
The Cadillac Crest has a heritage of evolution that often marks new eras. Considering that Cadillac’s product and design advances have been moving the brand forward for almost 15 years since the original CTS, it stands to reason that the Cadillac Crest evolves again to reflect the current growth of the brand.
The updated 2015 CTS includes Cadillac CUE, the centerpiece of technologies designed to enhance the driving experience and complement the lifestyle of Cadillac’s Internet-connected customers. CUE has made SMS texting easier by allowing drivers to listen to important texts and respond with a preset message; additionally, drivers can use the steering wheel voice activation button to begin and end sessions with Siri. Both use voice-controlled connectivity to help keep distractions to a minimum with your phone in your pocket and your hands on the wheel.
Additionally, Cadillac’s standard wireless phone charging technology allows users to simply place their phone on a rubberized pad to recharge via an electromagnetic field.
As you may know by now, power comes in the form of a standard 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder and an available 3.6L V6. An eight-speed automatic is available for 3.6L/RWD models. The four is rated at 272 horsepower while the 3.6L V6 is rated at 321 horsepower, both featuring direct injection and dual overhead camshafts with continuously variable valve timing.
