Chevrolet’s Ad Agency Moving Into Detroit

Chevrolet‘s ad agency, Commonwealth/McCann, will be making the move to One Detroit Center to be closer to General Motors. Commonwealth/McCann is currently only about a mile away from the client.

“Our new location puts us in walking distance to the Renaissance Center, closer to our client,” says communications manager Nicole Dowswell.

Commonwealth was formed two years ago as a joint venture between Omnicon’s Goodby, Silverstein & Partners and Interpublic’s McCann Erickson Worldwide. Commonwealth created the tagline “Find New Roads” after the Chevrolet account left Campbell-Ewald, Chevy’s long-time agency of record . Since 2013, McCann Worldgroup has assumed sole responsibility for Commonwealth.

The move from the current Francis Palms Building, which is across from Comerica Park, is expected to take place early in 2015.
