Like many of you, we didn’t really know what to think of the all-new 2015 Chevrolet Cruze when it debuted and launched in China earlier this year.
On the one hand, the new D2XX-based compact represented a complete departure from the general design of the attractive first-generation model. On the other hand, the availability of real-world, up-close photos was extremely limited. We’ve managed to solve the second dilemma — and have the following gallery of the pictures of the 2015 (Chinese-market) Cruze to share with you.
Do the new images change your opinion on the new compact? And how do you like it compared to the upcoming North American-market model? Talk to us in the comments.

Really? They had already shown these photos in “The All-New Chevy Cruze US-Market Will Have These Three Differences Compared To The Chinese Version”…
I thought that with the incorporation of new people to the team, GM Authority would move forward for the better; but based on the material published in recent weeks, it seems they are focusing more on quantity than quality of content. A pity!
Constructive criticism of a regular reader of your blog.
“They had already shown these photos in “The All-New Chevy Cruze US-Market Will Have These Three Differences Compared To The Chinese Version”…”
1. Not all of the ones seen here were shown there.
2. The focus of the story, and hence the discussion, is different here compared to the story you’re referring to. Hence, the purpose here is much more so community and discussion than anything else.
As a sidenote, the other comments on this story are specifically about the subject matter at hand (hence accomplishing the purpose of discussion on the next-gen Cruze). If you’d like to provide feedback, you should do so here, so as not to disrupt the discussion:

As for this:
“I thought that with the incorporation of new people to the team, GM Authority would move forward for the better; but based on the material published in recent weeks, it seems they are focusing more on quantity than quality of content. A pity!”
Would you mind providing some specific examples of how this publication is not “moving forward” or “for the better”? The focus is on quality AND quantity… which is never a bad thing. Unless you’re intentionally “looking” for criticism.
Completely wrong on point #1. By the looks of the gallery here and there, to me they are both the same.
I actually like the Chinese front facada better. I read that we will be getting a short wheel base varient. I hope that this not true air won’t save much gas, and most people like extra space.
Not true. I want a Compact, I don’t want it to get any bigger at all, in fact I hope it’s a little less wide
this 2nd gen Cruze seems like the new Kia Cerato from the front to the rear, as it has some similarity with the Ford Focus. The 1st Gen has its own personality and presence.
