Buick has priced its Encore compact crossover at $24,990 for the 2015 model year, a reduction of $95 over the 2014 model, Edmunds reports. The range-topping Encore Premiuim Group now starts at $30,360 including destination, a price increase of $470 from 2014.
The 2015 Encore received minor tweaks for 2015, including the addition of OnStar’s 4G LTE Wi Fi hotspot services with a three-month/3GB data trial. There is also a new ‘Experience Buick Package’ which adds AM/FM/SiriusXM radio, navigation, a tilt-sliding power moonroof and 18-inch chrome aluminum wheels.
The same 1.4-liter four cylinder turbocharged engine producing 138 horsepower and the same six-speed automatic transmission will carryover for 2015.

Let’s hope that a more powerful engine is on its way at some point too.
It would have been nice to have seen some interior fixes as well. I.e. a proper set of armrests and a center console in front.
The new package adds some luxury and I’m guessing it will sell very well.
I agree that a more powerful engine option is still needed and will hopefully come the next year. It doesn’t need the 2.0T, but the 1.6T would be great, or maybe the upcoming 1.5T.
