Have you always dreamed of racing your very own Corvette? Do you have $92,000 burning a hole in your pocket? Would you like a car already built to racing spec? Then this 2007 Chevy Corvette “C6R” may be right for you! Now, this car should not be confused with the now-retired, official Corvette C6.R. This is someone’s own custom build.
This 2007 Corvette started life as a perfectly race-ready Z06, but was then completely built up to SCCA spec for the Pirelli World Challenge series. It’s still sporting a mildly modified LS7, but nearly everything else seems to have been changed. The car was fitted with a fire system, driver’s cooling system “to make you comfortable in hot weather,” pro-level roll cage and custom fuel cells. Too keep such a stiff car stuck to the road, the car was fitted with a front splitter and rear wing, along with 4 way Moton shocks all around and 345 tires on the rear.
The build on this car appears to be as high as it can get, and it would be hard to replicate for the price, but this car may have some difficulty selling due to the lack of a large market. This would be a great deal for someone looking for a race car, but to most people, $92,000 is an awful lot for a car that isn’t street legal. This car definitely needs the right buyer, but that buyer will get a heck of a deal if he was planning on building his own.
