Jim Perkins And Jeff Gordon Talk Corvette

NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon will be raffling off his personal Laguna Blue 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible to benefit his charity, the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation. In order to provide some hype and context to the American sports car that one lucky individual will win, Gordon himself took to the interwebs to have a chat with former Chevrolet general manager Jim Perkins.

Perkins, who held his position as Chevrolet’s GM from 1989 until 1997, seems as enthusiastic as ever about the latest generation of Corvette, speaking highly of its styling, engine, and interior.

The raffle itself ends on or before September 29, 2014. Each ticket costs $100 and tickets will be limited to 7,500, with all proceeds going to pediatric cancer research and treatment access.

At 14 minutes long, this is not a short video, but then again, it’s not every day you get to hear two legends dish about a legendary sports car in the name of a good cause.
