Yesterday, Chevrolet, probably by accident, revealed a photo of a 2015 Tahoe with Z71 badge work on its tailgate and C pillar. Today, The Bowtie confirmed that it is indeed going to soon begin producing both 2015 Tahoe and 2015 Suburban Z71 models soon. Additional features and production timing will be announced in late September, which sounds like the Texas State Fair to us.
Nothing has been detailed, but we at least have the Chevrolet Silverado Z71 to go off of. This could mean that the 2015 Tahoe Z71 and 2015 Suburban Z71 could feature Rancho shocks, a hill descent control feature, a locking rear differential, underbody cladding, all-terrain tires, and recovery tow hooks. Stay tuned.

Like I said Easter Egg.
I bet it shows at the Texas Fair since they confirmed it.
Again GM often hides some things in plain sight so take the time to look around once in a while and you may find a surprise.
I remember the 1990 Fiero was in the 2nd Back to the future movie and people missed it for years. Note it was grey for that movie.
