Brazilian-Spec Chevrolet Spin Activ MPV Spied Testing

A more rugged, off-road ready version of Chevrolet’s Spin MPV sold in Brazil, Indonesia and other developing countries called the Spin Activ has been spied testing in Brazil. A different version of the Spin Activ was launched in Indonesia earlier this year, but the Brazilian-spec version appears to have several key differences.

The test mule spotted had a trunk-mounted spare wheel, new alloys and lower body ‘Activ’ graphics. It also shares features with the Indonesian model including black cladding on the lower body and wheel wells and small silver skid plate-like inserts on the front and rear bumpers.

The Spin Activ in Brazil will likely be offered only with the range-topping LTZ-level trim. The only engine option available with the Spin Activ will be the 106 horsepower 1.8-liter four-cylinder paired with a choice of a 5-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. Indian Autos Blog says the car will likely make its debut at the Sao Paulo Auto Show this October.

  2. This thing is ugly!! Agile, Cobalt, Montana, they´re all ugly!! Can’t believe the same General that builds the Impala, the Insignia and the CTS is the same that builds those atrocities.
No wonder GM is having trouble selling cars in Brazil.
