The Golden Gate bridge is famous for its location and style, bringing tourists and the suicidal together to appreciate the sights of the Marin County, the city by the bay, and the bay itself. So is it any wonder that a hoodlum driving a Camaro would be attracted to this famous landmark?
In the below video, the driver of this 1998-2002 Camaro stopped traffic as he performed several doughnuts as other drivers and pedestrians looked on. “If you watch the video, you can see that the vehicle is spinning within inches of a guardrail where there are tourists. It put a lot of people at risk unnecessarily,” Officer Andrew Barclay told SFGate.
“Unbelievably stupid, unbelievably dangerous,” added bridge manager for the Golden Gate Transportation District, Kary Witt.
Indeed.
Motorists called 911 and police even pulled one car over − a driver suspected of participating in the event, but not the driver of the Camaro. However, no arrests have been made at this time.

I can’t help it, I love the “side-show” car culture from Oakland. Search the net. LS1 f-bodies are the American hoonmobile of choice. And many of the cars and drivers are pretty awesome in power and skill.
That said; although a nuisance, this was not news worthy. If anything it made the driver more notorious amoung his friends.
