The Suppliers To The 2014 Cadillac CTS Sedan Come From Everywhere

Cadillac’s 2014 CTS mid-size sedan may be produced at General Motors’ Grand River Assembly plant in Lansing, MI., but its parts come from a variety of suppliers located all over North America. If you’ve ever wondered where some of the most crucial bits of the CTS come from, look no further than Automotive News’ helpful ‘Suppliers to the 2014 CTS’ diagram.

Some of the suppliers of the new CTS include Magna, Coastal Automotive, Keystone Powdered Metal, Montaplast North America, BWI Group, Grand Rapids Controls, HellermannTyton, Midway Products and many more.

You may recognize some of the suppliers of the more crucial bits of the car, like Brembo, who supplies the front brake calipers. Brembo was also the supplier of the brakes for the 556 horsepower CTS-V. Other well-known suppliers involved in production of the CTS are BorgWarner, who produces the one-way clutch for V6 models, America Axle, makers of both the CTS’ axles, and Mahle, which makes the cylinder liners.

  3. I think the Gen 2 CTS looks better than the Gen 3 version.
The Gen 2 has sharp angles and creases and definitely makes a statement — especially the CTS Coupe.
I think the newer car is just too “Meh”.
The front end and light pipes are cool. Rest of the car, not so much.
