Opel has announced the base price of the new off-road ready Adam Rocks minicar. Starting at 15,990 euros, the Adam Rocks is a good deal pricier than the standard Adam that was introduced last year. Converted to U.S. currency, the Adam Rocks will start at a little over $21,500.
The Adam Rocks differs from the standard Adam by the addition of plastic body cladding and 15 millimeters of additional ground clearance. While the minicar’s front-drive architecture won’t get it far off-road, the Adam Rocks is certainly more capable than the regular Adam. Opel has also thrown a cloth soft top on every Adam Rocks for good measure – a feature that’s unique to the Rocks.
Of course, buyers looking to try out Opel’s latest turbocharged three-cylinder ECOTEC engine will need to fork over a little more cash. The base 90-horsepower model will set customers back 18,490 euros; add an additional 300 euros to that price if you want the more powerful 115-horsepower ECOTEC engine.
