Chevrolet has a new ad touting available OnStar 4G LTE with Wi-Fi — indeed, you now can have Wi-Fi in your car. If you don’t think that’s the neatest thing since the big block, then maybe Chevrolet’s new ad will help change your mind.
Entitled 4G: The New Independence, the spot demonstrates its point with the help of a split screen, showing viewers a slice of real life and the web simultaneously. The visual trickery is done to show customers just how “Chevrolet is merging the physical freedom of the car with the virtual freedom of Wi-Fi.” And, as The Bowtie points out, virtual freedom also comes with the some physical freedom as well, since Chevrolet Wi-Fi users can connect to their devices if they remain within 30-feet of Wi-Fi-equipped models.

Another good ad.
Wish my 2014 Cruze had it.
That is nice to have, if OnStar was working in my area of service!!
Raymondjram: OnStar is based on AT&T Wireless service now, so coverage may be different than before. From my experience, you’ll have better/faster service when you have cell signal, but you’ll also have more places with bad/no signal.
