National Corvette Museum Looking For Volunteer 2014 Stingray Owners

The National Corvette Museum is putting on their Corvette Caravan this year and are looking for a very specific kind of volunteer to help them out, reports Corvette Blogger.

If you’re the owner of either a Blade Silver or Cyber Gray 2014 Corvette Stingray, then the NCM wants your car to lead the huge parade of Corvettes which will roar into Bowling Green on August 27. There’s just one small catch: you won’t get to drive your car. Instead, those duties will be handled by the Kentucky State Police, who will also outfit the car with temporary police lights and decals. But don’t worry, you’ll get to ride shotgun.

The four participating silver Stingrays must be at the Museum for August 25 in order for the lights to be installed and the police decals applied. The cars will then drive out to meet up with the various Corvette caravans arriving in Bowling Green and escort them into town.

Any C7 Corvette owners interested in taking the NCM up on this offer should send an email to [email protected] or [email protected].

This year’s Corvette Caravan will include more than 30 different caravans arriving from all over the country as they pour into Bowling Green, the home of the Corvette, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the National Corvette Museum and the opening of its new Motorsports Park. Over 7,000 Corvettes will be attendance, so will yours be one of them?
