Is Cadillac Using The BMW M4 As A Benchmark For The ATS-V?

Proudly wearing a Michigan license plate, one thing about the Austin Yellow BMW M4 that’s been seen being flogged around the Nurburgring in Germany these past few days is for certain: it’s owned by an American automotive brand. But which brand is it?
That’s what BridgeToGantry.com wants to know, and the site has narrowed it down to two logical choices: Ford or Cadillac. Both brands have been spending time testing on the ‘Ring lately, with Ford pushing around its new Mustang GT350 prototype and Cadillac sorting out its ATS-V and CTS-V prototypes.
While it makes sense for both brands to target the well-regarded BMW sports coupe for their new performance cars, we believe this Yellow BMW is the property of Cadillac. Just the other day we saw video of the ATS-V catching air on the ‘Ring, and it appeared to be playing cat and mouse with an Austin Yellow M4.
Mystery solved?
Most likely GM, Ford’s mustang is already outdated IMO
Report :
Automotive engineer of 6 parts in no economy ,bad performance in all brands which mean brands failure in automobiles thus.
1. Wider rear track than front track code chassis : easy wrecked chassis, lowest traction, extreme tail flick, extreme slip, hardcore control in all speed and economy as 1-5 km/l,below 1 km/l.
2. Turbocharger (1-4 turbo per engine) intercooler petrol engines : unstable acceleration, extreme wrecked engine parts, torque horsepower overload, and economy as 1-5 km/l,below 1 km/l.
3. without rear fog lamp : easy electronic parts wrecked,economy as 1-5 km/l,below 1 km/l.
4. CVT transmission : slow acceleration,economy as 1-5 km/l,below 1 km/l.
5. wider Front track than rear track in below 10 mm code chassis with RWD,AWD : medium traction, tail flick, easy slip and economy as 1-5 km/l,below 1 km/l.
6. Front track as same as rear track code chassis : medium traction,medium tail flick,easy slip,power slide,understeer and economy as 1-5 km/l,below 1 km/l.
If over 1 of 6 parts,automobiles of economy use 1-3 km/l,below 1 km/l.

Who cares, all that matters is that Two US Automakers are designing a car (or cars) with BMW refinement in their driving experience.
I say refinement because GM and Ford already have cars that out run and out handle the Bavarian. So they must be bench-marking and/or reaching for the nuances of high quality driving refinement.
So what car/cars does BMW use when it’s testing new vehicles??
Inquiring minds want to know!
The current model and the Cadillac competitor. Ford has nothing to compete with BMW. Most likely not a Mercedes.
They use the newer Cadillac .
BMW look at the Caddy, Benz, Jag for the most part.
Even Benz stated publically that they are really watching the CTSV. No better compliment could have been given as 10 years ago the same would not have been said.
Benchmarking the best should yield excellent results for both the Caddy and the ‘Stang. I don’t believe they’ll dethrone the M3/M4, but they should be able to match them in several key performance areas.
I would not underestimate this car as the Germans are not.
You don’t hear Benz making comments on the coming Lincoln do you?
The truth be said Cadillac is in the room and only has a few things to work out. They already have a more fun car to drive and just have a few nagging little details to work out.
Even the jaded Media has said the CTS is the car BMW used to build in handling.
BMW is not perfect either and of late has been lagging. The new car just out has helped but it is still not the perfect driving machine.
