General Motors Korea Recalling Daewoo-Built Suzuki Verona Models

General Motors Korea has announced it is recalling Suzuki models built by its Daewoo brand due to a faulty light module. This is in addition to two recalls announced in May for the Daewoo-built Suzuki Forenza and Reno.

The problem: The daytime running light module may overheat, causing it to melt or potentially cause a fire.

Vehicles affected: 2004 to 2006 model year Suzuki Verona models are recalled.

Number of vehicles being recalled: 25,899.

The fix: GM Korea, Suzuki and Daewoo will notify owners of the recall and replace the DRL module at no cost.

Contacts: Vehicle owners may contact Suzuki customer service at 1-800-934-0934 for more information.
