Flowmaster recently released a video showcasing its new Force II cat-back system for the 2014 Chevrolet SS sedan. The stainless steel system is emissions-legal and emits a powerful exterior growl but only a minimal interior tone, according to exhaust specialists.
The dual out rear (DOR) system is a direct bolt on for the SS’ 6.2-liter LS3 V8. The system features stainless steel, 60 Series Delta Flow-style mufflers, which have been designed to reduce interior noise, thereby providing for a more comfortable driving experience. They are the same mufflers used in Flowmaster’s systems for the Corvette C6 and C7.
A pair of 2.5-inch 409S tailpipes are finished with polished 304S stainless steel oval tips. To reduce restrictions and allow for maximum performance, the pipes are mandrel-bent. According to Flowmaster, the system has been dyno tuned to ensure utmost performance, and utilizes race muffler technology.
The Force II exhaust is manufactured in the USA and is covered under Flowmaster’s Lifetime Limited Warranty. Included with the system are all necessary parts and hardware.
