YouTube user ScorchTV claims this Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is an 8-second car – it’s not. A keen eye can see that this supercharged bruiser posts a quarter-mile time of 9.78 seconds at 145.2 mph. Quick, but not 8 seconds quick.
However, if this ZR1 somehow did manage to pull off an 8-second quarter-mile run, it would have broken the record for quickest six-speed manual General Motors car by more than half-a-second. Watch the video below:
