Wipe that grin from your face, because there will be no comedy here. Yes, it’s time for another episode of Car and Driver‘s incredibly interesting and remarkably humorless “Car Nerds In Corvettes Getting Nothing.”
Car and Driver‘s Don Sherman continues to ride shotgun with Corvette Chief Engineer Tadge Juechter at the helm of this episode’s subject: a gorgeous white-on-red 1987 Corvette convertible, a car Juechter helped tune.
Sherman is on his A-game in this video. He still won’t humor you, but he may just entertain you as he tells Juechter of his gloried past, which includes time spent racing a fourth-generation Corvette.
Juechter, for his part, seems less than impressed with the C4. While he certainly appreciates the car’s styling, his stories about its development give the impression that he would have done things differently had he been in charge – good thing he was in charge when it came time to make the C5, C6, and C7.
The C4 is the Most Beautiful Convertible in the world, and one of the most Cool Vette`s ever
Specially the 91-96 models
