The Cadillac SRX is a front-wheel-drive-based luxury crossover SUV, but it wasn’t always. Unlike the current car, the first-generation SRX was a rear-drive-based SUV that shared its platform with the original Cadillac CTS. It was good – so good, in fact, that Car and Driver repeatedly named it as one of its 5Best trucks on the market. No doubt the original SRX will be looked upon fondly in the future, and one eBay seller is predicting a significant spike in value. Or he just made a major typo.
With a “Buy It Now” price of $900,000, this 2005 SRX certainly appears to have been treated well during its 118,493 miles of travel. We’re not saying it’s been treated six-figure money good, but if you were going to pay top dollar for a used SRX with over 100,000 miles, this just might be the one.
The Caddy’s Hudson, Fla. seller, William, describes the SRX as being in “really good condition.” Of course, we could have confirmed with William via phone call that the price he’s submitted for the ad was an accident, but it’s more fun to pretend good ol’ Bill is actually looking for a little less than a million for his nine year-old Caddy.
