Some cars just have that menacing aura about them which makes you say to yourself “I would not want to line up against that for a drag race.” Maybe that is how the “Death ‘Vette” got its nickname, by striking outright fear into the hearts of its opponents before the lights on the tower even turned from yellow to green.
We looked pretty hard and unfortunately, we couldn’t find a build sheet for this frightening Corvette. Thanks to the absolutely massive turbocharger sticking through the hood, it isn’t very hard to figure out what’s gotten the car into the 9-second club. There are countless cars on the internet which show that taking an LS motor and adding a little boost is almost always a winning combination.
The video below, which comes courtesy of Redmaro Productions, shows the Death ‘Vette taking on various opponents at several different drag racing events over the past year. It’s like the grim reaper of cars, going around collecting the defeated souls of Mustangs, Camaros and anything else that dares line up next to it.
