The Opel Corsa has long been one of the brand’s best-selling and most important models, giving vice-president of design at Opel, Mark Adams, a particularly daunting task when designing the all-new 2015 model.  Whether you like his work or not is for you to decide, but listening to Adams explain some of the design features and the decisions behind them may change your opinion of the new car for the better.
Adams starts off concentrating on the Corsa’s new “winged” headlight, which is quickly becoming a signature feature on all Opels and Vauxhalls. Next, he goes into detail pointing out and describing the car’s “sculptural” design, which Vauxhall says adds to the new car’s more athletic appearance. Adams also goes over some small design elements, such as the “winged” features within the Corsa’s tail lamps.
Check out the video below and if you weren’t a fan of the Corsa’s new looks before, maybe hearing Adams talk about his latest creation will convince you otherwise.

I made one change if you can find it
I wish they would move Adams to Chevy, the brand most in need of a solid design language. He its about the best designer GM has.
His work is fantastic, it will be interesting to see what he does with Buick. Given that he was at Caddy for a second, I’d expect him to do well with a true Buick flagship.
Why its he only VP? Is Ed President of design for each division?
