Yesterday, we reported that nine changes are coming to the Chevrolet Malibu for 2015. Today we know there will actually be ten changes. That’s because General Motors just released pricing information for the 2015 Malibu.
There’s good news and bad news, and we’ll start with the good: the base 2015 Malibu LS will start at $23,165, the same as it did in 2014.
The bad news is that the top-of-the-line 2015 Malibu 2LTZ will retail for $31,180, or $405 more expensive than a 2014 Malibu 2LTZ.
On the bright side, that price increase does afford 2015 Malibu customers with some trick new technology, like OnStar Generation 10 hardware with 4G LTE and built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, which comes with a three-month/three-gigabyte data trial.
The 2015 Malibu is available now.
Comments
2013 was a supposed oops. Next comes the tweaked 2014, then a re-tweaked 2015 and by the spy shots, another refresh for 2016. This is all getting very lame for a car that really wasn’t all that bad to begin with. Guess we can all thank those know-it-all journalists who gave it such a bad rap, that think because they can write they’re better/smarter than the rest of us. 🙂
