The 2015 Cadillac Escalade, set to arrive throughout the Middle East in August 2014, has taken United Arab Emirates (UAE) consumers by storm. According to Liberty Automobiles Co., the exclusive dealer in the UAE, the Escalade has already received a large amount of pre-orders over the past three months.
Cadillac feels high demand for the newly refreshed Escalade can be attributed to the SUV’s newly revised interior, which incorporates extravagant luxury and the latest technology. According to Vehicle Sales, Service and Marketing Director for Cadillac in the Middle East, Felix Weller, the revised Escalade upholds the brand’s reputation for UAE consumers.
“The sophisticated luxury SUV – designed to establish new benchmarks for hand-tailored craftsmanship and technology – both meets and exceeds customer expectations, delivering an unparalleled driving experience for the most discerning car enthusiasts,” says Felix.
The interior features wood trim options and cut-and-sewn and wrapped materials, befitting of the elegance that the Escalade is known for. Cadillac’s advanced system for connectivity and control, CUE, comes standard and features state-of-the-art voice recognition with touch controls. Outside, the redesigned Escalade is accented by LED lighting.
Under the hood is a new 6.2L V8 that is not only is more powerful than older models, but is also more fuel-efficient. The world’s fastest-reacting suspension system – Cadillac’s Magnetic Ride Control – has found its way into the SUV and is paired to the obligatory four-wheel drive system.
A few days ago we reported that Cadillac is mulling over a Vsport and diesel versions of the Escalade. If they pan out, you can bet the well-heeled of the UAE will embrace Cadillac’s SUV just a little tighter.
