1998 GMC Workhorse Is The Truck Of Our Culinary Dreams: eBay Find

Talk about a truck that truly lives up to its name. This 1998 GMC Workhorse food truck on eBay features a full mobile kitchen that that is perfect for the guy or gal who wants to make a living serving street-side food to the hungry masses.

Located in Barrington, RI, the seller says a 1998 GMC truck was constructed into this food truck in 2011. The truck comes with brand-new cooking equipment and a rebuilt engine that has less than 5,000 miles on it. Plus, if you live in or around Barrington, you’ll be glad to know that the truck is already licensed to serve food in the area.

With a $70,000 “Buy It Now” price, this food truck certainly isn’t cheap, but the long list of equipment the seller claims this Workhorse has may make it seem like a solid deal. Or, if you prefer, eBay gives you the option to make the seller an offer.

We’re not chefs here at GM Authority [speak for yourself -Ed.], but we have to say that if we were aspiring to enter the culinary world, we’d snap up this truck and head to Los Angeles to give their famed taco trucks a run for their money.

  1. Thanks for the great post , its good to hear of what trucking has always been about and that is WORKING and being a reliable tool for the tradesman . I owned a GMC one ton reinforced , vacuum business , that worked commercially and industrially . It took a tough beating day in and day out , never faltered and allowed for 100% ontime dispatch to the job sites . This reliability allowed me to pay off the business much earlier than anticipated . This 98 food truck probably has lots of reliable service to give and if you find more good news on working mens trucks , keep it coming ! Jim
