A red 1962 Corvette convertible with a black top was stolen from its 73-year-old owner earlier this month in Calgary, Canada.
Kenneth Jelley’s Corvette was locked up and covered in a tarp outside his house when someone cut the lock, which was left in the Vette’s place. Police say the car was stolen sometime between 7:00 PM on July 12th and 5:00 PM on July 13th.
Jelley has owned the Vette for over 40 years and there are only 54,000 miles on the odometer.
“We’re in mourning . . . for Betsy. She was a kind ol’ girl. She gave us a lot of fun,” Jelley said.
