Victory Eludes Cadillac Racing At Road America In Pirelli World Challenge Action

After demonstrating close quarter road-course superiority in Detroit a few weeks ago, Cadillac Racing had to settle for less than the victory in both Pirelli World Challenge races at Road America this weekend. Instead, the honors went to Mike Skeen and the No. 2 Hawk Performance Audi R8 Ultra in the GT class both times, while Cadillac Racing’s Andy Pilgrim and Johnny O’Connell went fourth and seventh, respectively at the end or race one. The duo then went second (Pilgrim) and fourth (O’Connell) at the end of race two.

Despite not winning the races, the high placing finishes still meant that O’Connell keeps his commanding lead in driver’s point standings with 868 points, while Skeen is second with 749. Pilgrim is fourth with 726. All of the Road America action will be televised on NBC Sports, Friday, July 4 at 6:30 p.m. ET. Next up for Cadillac Racing and company will be the Grand Prix of Toronto, July 18-20.
