If you haven’t been able to tell, we here at GM Authority are pretty big fans of the C7 Corvette. One of the reasons that we like it so much is the styling, which retains the Corvette vibe with a fresh dose of intimidation. However, wheel maker Forgiato thought it could look a little meaner, as their 2014 C7 Stingray Widebody on eBay is their recipe for destruction.
You may recall this car from SEMA 2013. To be honest, it’s a bit obscene—it costs $165,000. For that, you get a Stingray with body modifications, so it technically isn’t even a kit (yet it still maintains its warranty), but it looks like an absolute monster. However, at the end of the day, you get a slightly heavier Stingray that is slightly more aerodynamic. At that price, you could almost buy three regular Stingrays.
The concept is nice, and the execution has entranced us, but aside of the body and wheels, we’d rather put our money in making it faster (as if the Corvette needs the help!).
