Opel and Volkswagen continued their rivalry with a bit of a mind game during this year’s Wörthersee event in Austria. Like last year, Opel aimed to goose VW on a similar level, but a different fashion. Last year it was fireworks. But this year, Opel made headlines in the auto world by campaigning that pigeons targeted Volkswagens when they defecated from their perches. And rumor was that Opel was going to sick a swarm of them on Das Auto. This struck fear into the hearts of Wörthersee attendees, causing many of them to cover their prized rides in fear of a squadron of biological bombers damaging them.
Hilariously, it was all just a psych-out. And if your German is sharp enough, enjoy the video below:

In Europe there is an advertisement for Opel, in which appears Claudia Schiffer and she says that Germany is the only country that knows how to make cars because in Germany people are very serious.
Do not know about you guys but for me what Opel did was basically says that Americans, Japanese cars … suck! For example the cars from Germany “are the best” so a person should buy a Mercedes and not a Cadillac who is American and belongs to the GM! The same group of Opel!
GM is very special in the sense that its product range is very diverse continent of EU and U.S. products. VAG is preserved only in the EU.
GM should be more and better cooperate with their counterparts. not mutually prevented. GM could be very successful and a special company to be better than today, and here, all professionals and staff to work properly.
Lately, in fact, has already begun to change the GM strategy, and also changed globally and this is a priority of the management.
Hopefully, GM will be more powerful and close to the company globally.
U.S. and the EU will cooperate more and share knowledge, it is still better than VAG EU.
“VAG is preserved only in the EU.”
Sorry but that’s nonsense. The Volkwagen Group is also market leader in China, is very strong in South America and Africa. Even though VW is loosing market share in the US, Volkswagen, Audi and Porsche stay very strong in North America.
In 2013 VW sold as many cars as GM globally.
I tell it. American cars to the U.S. BUILDS AND BUILDS THE EU AND THE VAUXHALL OPEL CARS. VAG still only preserved BUILDS THE COURSE cars that are sold around the world.
GM = American cars and European cars. VAG = European cars
U.S. American cars still quite different compared to the European automobiles. Especially the American cars in Europe.
I have a very glad GM is composed of both erinevatets global markets.
GM should do everything just to make better use of, and it is also planned to start making and already has made, and made well.
