The success of Opel’s stylish city car, the Adam, has prompted the company to develop an entire range of Adam models, according to German motoring magazine Auto Motor und Sport.
Opel CEO Karl-Thomas Neumann said the company is working on a “whole Adam family.” He wouldn’t reveal any more info on the future models, but promised that more Adam variations are on their way.
The magazine also reports Opel is working on a coupe-like SUV to compliment the massively successful Mocha model. It will reportedly utilize styling cues lifted from the Adam and could replace the Meriva MPV altogether.

I’d love to see a Ford Flex sized Adam SUV. Mini should have done it, stretched and raised the Country Man; it would make for a beautiful Adam & perfect range topper for China and US.
Feels like Opel is pulling a Fiat with an Adam sub brand. They need to bring something unique to the table for this top really work out well.
I still say Chevy, not Buick, should sell Adam in NA. The bowtie needs something special to compete with Juke and Volster.
This could be interesting…. I’d like to see a new Tigra Twintop! But with this, a more interesting drive, a much better interior with a focus on a more sporting drive
