Listen here, youth. You might say you love cars, and that you know cars. But do you really? Would you say you would be willing to even immerse yourself in the world of villains and thankless narcissists that comprise the members of automotive media? If so. Now’s your chance. We have a few openings for summer intern staff writers, which is one of the best ways to get your foot in the door of the automotive media industry, shy of your uncle working for a major magazine.
Interns will learn more than just how to carve out stories. Because it’s well into the twenty-first century, there are things like SEO, inbound/outbound links, and even social media to add to the equation. Plus, you get to have your work read by literally hundreds of thousands of people (your resumé would be so happy). Pretty sure your school newspaper can’t match up to that.
What are you waiting for? If you are as serious about writing about cars as we are, email us at webmail [at] gmauthority [dot] com, or myself at [email protected]. If you’re serious, include your resumé, a cover letter describing why you’re a good fit for this position, and a trio of writing samples (if you have them).

That is a good idea and great opportunity.
WHOA WAIT WHAT
I wanna do this.
To the person who left a comment above me; I’m sorry, I got so excited when reading this that I accidentally hit the “dislike” button on your comment as I tried scrolling down on my phone and now am too busy typing this…so…I’m sorry. Please don’t hate me. I think your comment is wonderful.
No problem. If I want hate, I’ll go to Yahoo. Except for a few trollers, GMAuthority posters are very cordial.
