For those of you that don’t know, E3 is an annual video game trade show at the Los Angeles Convention Center that is about the automotive equivalent of the North American International Auto Show. The multi-day event showcases the latest products and future releases from the likes of Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony and others, such as a new Halo, Zelda and/or Call of Duty. But there were also two GM brands there: GMC and OnStar.
Like the Consumer Electronics Show earlier this year, 4G LTE by OnStar was the highlight, with GM Head of Consumer Affairs James Bell showing off its capabilities in the video below as it pertains to gaming. Picture bringing a television and Madden 2015 along to the tailgate this fall with the upcoming 2015 GMC Canyon to play opponents online. It will soon be possible, and will add a dimension of entertainment that could never really be achieved before. Check the video below to see a bit on how it works.

Play an EA game in the bed of a pickup? No thanks! You couldn’t even pay me to touch that crap.
