The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has just been named as one of the “Five Best Play Cars for CEOs” according to Edmunds. The Corvette is said to be one vehicle that offers CEOs the ability to enjoy the fruits of their labor on their own personal time.
Edmunds Editor in Chief Scott Oldham, along with Chief Executive magazine’s William J. Holstein, say the Corvette represents “an intelligent range of new or recently refreshed selections.” The Corvette Stingray in particular was praised for its ability to “command respect” and was for individuals who are “serious about torque.”
The Corvette Stingray convertible that Edmunds and Chief Executive tested was priced at $66,080, giving CEOs the ability to own two for the price of one 911 Turbo S (one of the other four winners), which listed at $210,620.
Chevrolet continues to receive praise for the C7 Corvette, which can only mean one thing – it’s living up to its hype. If you were a CEO of a company, would you own a Corvette?
