Cadillac Announces New Marketing Director For Middle East

Felix Weller, formerly Audi’s sales director, will now be working as Vehicle Sales, Service and Marketing Director for Cadillac in Dubai. His new role at General Motors was created specifically to support a renewed focus on the luxury brand in the Middle East.

“We know that the demand for luxury vehicles is growing and fast. For instance, in the UAE, our Cadillac brand had 10.2 percent sales growth last year. We have more Cadillacs on the road now than ever before,” said the President and Managing Director of General Motors Middle East, Maurice Williams.

However, Cadillac feels there are more opportunities for the brand. Says Weller, “We want to capitalize on our growth and for Cadillac to stand out even further as a key luxury brand in the Middle East. Cadillac and the region have a joint history based on common values.”

Cadillac does not plan on changing the comprehensive aftersales package included in the price of its vehicles—the brand will continue to focus on premium service for its current and future crop of customers in the region. “Cadillac is about highly sophisticated, bold, and daring vehicles as well as a dynamic driving experience – we want to further strengthen the brand by bringing these facts to the fore,” added Weller.

Cadillac’s lineup in the Middle East will soon include the highly anticipated 2015 Cadillac Escalade SUV, which is due to hit showrooms during the summer.
