If you live your life a quarter-mile at a time, then take a look at this 2014 COPO Camaro that’s currently for sale on ebay.
At $149,990, the price seems a bit steep considering General Motors announced in 2013 that the starting price of the COPO Camaro begins $86,000.  Then again, this is a perfect example of what happens to price when supply meets demand, as only 69 Gen. 5 COPO Camaros have been built each year since its introduction.
This particular COPO Camaro is located in Houston, Texas and sports a big 427-cubic inch V8. Chevrolet says this engine’s good for 435-horsepower, though the seller gives an NHRA-rating of 430-hp. Regardless of how many horses are residing under the big fiberglass hood, each one makes their way to the rear wheels courtesy of TH-400 3-speed automatic transmission.
The seller notes that this particular car is serial number 15 and has zero miles on its odometer. There is clearly some discrepancy with the VIN supplied, as the AutoCheck notes a front-impact collision in March of this year and an updated salvage title by the DMV in June; however, the seller says to disregard the VIN and contact him or her instead.
The auction runs until July 9 at 4:15 PM EST. Potential buyers can also make an offer on the car if that nearly $150,000 asking price is a little too steep.
