While the seasoned Cadillac CTS-V has turned into something of a darling for wealthy performance enthusiasts with an appreciation for a supercharged Small Block V8, we haven’t seen much of the 2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport running around the drag racing strip. So to actually see a video of one in action is a bit of a treat, and to make things a bit more interesting, this example sports a simple tune. Then again, there’s not really much of an aftermarket for the car as it stands.
At any rate, the result of the tune allows for the luxury midsize sedan with all of its comforts and practicalities to run a 12.41-second quarter mile, which is encroaching on Corvette territory. And for the price, it should be. To get a look at how it went down, have a glance at the video below. Though we should warn you in advance of the cheesy music.

Have you had any street races in mexico?
Perhaps raced a new SS, 5.0, RT Scatpack?
If so, what were the results?
