The Chevrolet Sonic has been more or less a small car revolution for Chevrolet since its debut in 2011. Yes, it’s affordable on nearly any budget. Yes it’s minimalist. But at the same time, The Sonic’s fit and finish is standout for the segment, as are its looks and overall driving dynamics. In fact, all it’s really missing is a true Ford Fiesta ST fighter (which is, suffice it to say, one of the most impressive and entertaining cars this writer has ever driven to-date. Chevrolet, you’re really missing out here).
Meanwhile, in China, where the Sonic sells as the Aveo, a refreshed model has recently been revealed. Gone are the motorcycle-inspired headlights in favor of a new set of eyes, and a new dual-port grille. But is it better looking than the model it replaces? And would you be okay with this new face being that of a refreshed Sonic in the future? Let us know.

They continue to ignorantly misplace the bowtie 🙁
its a bit of a conundrum, where are you goingto place it, when there are so many different laws regarding front license plates?
Looks like natural progression to me, I would like to see the Sonic headlights as an option though!
Anyone else pick up on the big similarity to the Chinese Aveo and the Holden VF Commodore?
Anybody seen this ??http://m.autohome.com.cn/news/201406/813013.html?from=pc
Thanks for the tip!
Yes, on a couple of other websites. Chevy, enough with the refreshes and just get us a better new one already. The interior looks good though, definitely a step in the right direction.
I think the main thing for them to do is to stretch the wheelbase for legroom
I have a 2014 Sonic and I think mine is better. The 2015 version looses personality. It’s just another car. The other one is unique. The eyes is the better think it had and they took it out. Don’t like it.
