With its sharp, angular lines and wide stance, the C7 Corvette Stingray is already a huge head-turner on the road. If it’s still too inconspicuous for your tastes, there is no shortage of exterior upgrade kits available on the aftermarket, but this new exposed carbon fiber kit unveiled by Weapon X Motorsports at the National Corvette Museum Bash this past weekend might just be the best-looking one we’ve seen.
According to LSXTV, Weapon X waited until the NCM Bash held at the National Corvette Museum in Kentucky to unveil their carbon fiber appearance package for the C7. It includes an exposed carbon fiber front splitter, hood, rocker blades, spoiler and rear diffuser. The kit requires no body modification and can be seamlessly installed using the OEM mounting holes.
If you’re looking to really make your C7 Corvette pop, don’t be afraid take a look at Weapon X’s kit, that’s if you can get past the $6,990 pricetag. That sounds expensive, but it will most likely be much cheaper than the SuperVettes widebody kit we showed you yesterday. It must equally be as impressive in real life, too, as it won best in show and got the nod of approval from the brains behind the modern-day Corvette himself, Tadge Juechter. It’s $7k to get the package with the CF hood and spoiler.
Just the front splitter, rocker panels, and rear diffuser are the $4000 kit. oh and the hood extractor.. but i thought that was CF already
Fixed, thanks for the heads up.
Sam, we’re very glad you like it! Next month, we’ll release the full 700hp build: weapon7 #001 with a 427 cubic inch LT1 based motor that will give the new Z06 a run for it’s money! 🙂
This is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen 😡 I would have expected a higher price tag on the complete kit… custom race bits aren’t cheap can’t wait to see them in person!
