Top Gear Gets Sideways In The 2014 Camaro Z/28: Video

Chevrolet’s 2014 Camaro Z/28 can battle and win against some of the world’s best sports and super cars. Its Nurburgring lap time of 7:37.47 has bested cars such as the Porsche Carrera and Lexus LFA and now, Top Gear magazine and their resident racing driver The Stig have stuck it up against the BMW M6 and Nissan GT-R.
Top Gear’s full review of the Z/28 is in the current issue of their magazine, but the quick teaser video below shows them, in typical Top Gear fashion, drifting it alongside the M6 and GT-R on their test track. They also drag race the three cars, but with the Camaro being a track-prepped corner carver that is significantly down on power compared to the other two, we’re sure you know how that turned out.
Check out the video below for some sideways drift action of the Z/28 alongside two of its hottest rivals.

The Z is an amazing car and it shows how GM can take an older architecture and really make it world class.
It only makes me more eager to see what the same people can do with the new and better refined Alpha. You figure the Cadillac is amazing now but still is set to give a better ride over total performance. Just think what they can do with a Camaro that has no preconceived notions it still has to ride like a Cadillac.
I have great anticipation for the new car.
