Hennessey Puts The HPE650 Corvette Stingray On The Dyno: Video

When it comes to adding a little boost to your 2014 Corvette Stingray, Hennessey Performance Engineering has you covered. The Texas-based tuning shop has already developed a twin turbo kit for America’s sports car, and recently released full details and footage of its new HPE650 supercharger upgrade kit for the C7.

Hennessey’s upgrade kit includes a high flow TVS2300 supercharger system with a custom HPE pulley and air induction system as well as HPE engine management calibration. The 6.2-liter LT1 V8 is already a fairly potent engine from the factory, but adding a supercharger to the mix bumps output up to 532 horsepower and 539 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels.

Just 100 HPE650 upgrade kits will be sold in 2014, each with their own 3 Year/36,000 mile limited warranty. If you’re still on the fence about whether an upgrade kit such as this is worth it or not, maybe seeing an HPE650-equipped Stingray walk all over a stock model in a drag race will change your mind.
