The Oldsmobile Toronado may not be at the very top of every collector’s wish list, but that doesn’t mean the long and stylish coupe is any less interesting than the high-profile muscle cars of the era. The full-size “personal luxury car” signaled the return of front-wheel drive cars from American automakers and introduced several important General Motors innovations at the time.
If you’re one of those people who do happen to have a small affinity for the Toronado, than you had better check out this eBay ad. It lists a 1967 Toronado for sale with a unique Plum Purple exterior paint finish with matching interior and an undisclosed amount of miles on the odometer. Of course, it also comes with a numbers-matching 7.0-liter V8 with a Quadrajet Carburetor and the Turbo Hydramatic three-speed automatic transmission.
The ad says this Toronado has received awards from local Washington-area car shows including a People’s Choice Award from the Vintiques car club, if car shows are your thing. Interested? You can buy it now for $22,900.00, or throw the seller a reasonable offer.

My parents had an Olds Toronado! That thing was pretty sweet for the time.
