Carbon Fiber Wrapped Chevrolet Malibu Spotted In China Because China

We can understand why the owner of a common car like the Chevrolet Malibu would want to customize it to stand out a little bit from the crowd. It’s possible to personalize a car like this tastefully, but it’s very easy to take it to the point of looking tacky. We’ll let you be the judge of what category this carbon-fiber wrapped Malibu spotted in Shanghai by a Car News China reader falls under.

The wrap on the Malibu appears to have a raised texture to it and covers the entire vehicle including the roof and door handles. It’s been further modified with some extra bars in the grille, tinted windows, tinted taillights and some alloy wheels. And check out that transformers badge in place of the bowtie on the trunk. Nice.

Whether this is to your tastes or not, we can almost grantee the owner of this Malibu stands out in China. Unless there is some underground Malibu enthusiast’s culture we don’t know about. Check out more photos of the car over on Car News China.
