Too late, bought my wife a Subaru Impreza Sport 5-speed last Summer. GM, day late and dollar short, my dollar.
Don’t mind the fact that the Trax is in a different class and a much, much better vehicle. Who’s short of what?
I hope this works well and does not cut into Buick, Nox or Sonic sales.
I hope they do something for Buick like more power to give them a leg up and make people want to pay more.
Note I suspect that GM held this one up till the Captiva was on the way out.
GM’s finally getting serious about the compact crossover market. let’s face it, the Trax will sell rings around the overpriced and complicated Encore. This little guy will also be a solid contender to those who want a flexible, efficient, and frugal suv. Well done GM and it’s about time. I heard rumors that the new Equinox will essentially be on the same platform as the Captiva, so theres hope for a new Captiva!
